Looks like a good start and a DAMN fine group.

Look for it to be lots of dirt roads and lots of pretty scenery. We will stop often enough and there will be no long stretches between fuel. We will climb a fire tower or two (on foot).

The ride will start from my house in Oakland, MD, just below Deep Creek Lake. Meet at 9:00 AM and ride by 10:00 AM. The ride will be all day, 180 - 200 miles of dirt roads and twisties down into West Virginia.

I will have doughnuts and pastries and coffee in the morning. I can suggest local accommodations, etc. We have been invited to trail ride Granville's on Saturday the 14th. I can and will work something out for incoming guests on the Sat nite, probably a local restaurant and hanging at casa mdub.

Did I miss anything?

I will be on my DRZ on worn DOT knobbies, TyMarp will be DRZ mounted with SM wheels and street tires.

But for anyone who hasn't been to one of Mdub's rides and can make it. Do yourself a favor and go. I know its far and stuff, but Mike puts on a great ride, knows the best roads, and it will be a good time. Most of my Mdub rides, I would consider "epic".

I have plenty of guitars and a bass. If we aren't too tired a jam can always happen.
