Ken did a GREAT job of getting the OFG to the school and back in one piece!
This is, of course, in addition to doing all the stuff to get the classes set up, etc. in the first place. YEA KEN!!!

Remembering the separated shoulder I got at the Shane Watts school last year I was able (barely) to resist the strong urge I had to try doing the bonus BIG log crossing with my won't-wheelie auto clutch. I did talk Rich into doing it on my bike and he made it with a MAJOR front fork bounce move!

The school was good and very worth it to me. Quite different than the Shane Watts 2 day I took last fall.

The best part for me was the intro discussion where there was some good Q&A and I got some good tips and clarification on stuff like how to position my hands and feet when standing and how to use my knees when turning. etc. I think this will be a big help to me in trying to learn some of the things BoomBoom has been trying desperately to teach me (with limited success so far) :lol2:

Rich is a very nice sincere guy that clearly wants to help you learn and will give you good individual help when needed.

He is NOT intimidating for "beginners" like me :harhar:

The only really weak point was his attempt at creating a "New Jersey Rock Garden" to teach us how to ride the rocks. After a couple of days last weekend of riding Shade in 4" of snow these "NJ Rocks" seemed pretty pitiful

I would highly recommend the school, especially for folks like most of us that are still trying to learn the basics of how to do it.

I made a comment about the rock garden, too, but what kept it interesting was all of the rocks moved as you went over them and it was different every time through .

My new GoPro hero3 is sweet. I love the remote control. BUT! Battery life sucks. So this clip is short ... next time I'll be more conservative with the battery

Overall a good day. I did sacrifice a fender that had two hours on it, don't ride mad! :foul:

Here's some footage of the last tight section we were run through.

I also have some footage of Rich riding whoops, unfortunately YouTube is futzing around with it and I already deleted it off my PC so it might be lost :fitz:
