Problems with the DAMN site

I'm aware of the issues. The errors make me think it's connectivity errors to the database, which seem to be transient, so I'm going to assume it's either a load issue (almost certainly due to a shared resource) or the provider's internal infrastructure is flaky. Either way, I'm finally getting off my butt and seeing what it takes to move the site to my own provider. Doing so used to be an easy process but at some point, they stopped their "one click install" of phpBB so I'll be building and installing from scratch. Please be patient.

No need at the moment, but thanks for offering. In fact, it'll be nice to get some actual use out of the monthly fees I've been paying for two and a half decades. If it turns out I need to do the more expensive hosting option (unlikely), maybe then I'll ask for donations but for now, no worries.
